SALT – Senior Adults Living Triumphantly
Purpose: To mobilize an army of seasoned believers who share a passion for discipleship and evangelism by exemplifying the fruit of the Spirit. In other words, we are equipped saints equipping saints to do the work of the ministry.
Theme Verse: Galatians 5:22, 23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such things there is no law.
We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month and other times as called for.
Have you come to believe that maybe you are at a place where you are too old, just have nothing to add or you have already done that and it’s someone else’s turn? Well, we at SALT do not believe that!
We are celebrating life in a whole new way by combining our vast knowledge of time and experience. We host a variety of events including banquets, pot luck dinners, picnics, and out of town trips. Being 50+ doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! We, also, engage in service projects for our Lord; i.e. visiting shut-ins and local nursing homes, sending cards to our sick and participating in community projects. This is a ministry that has not stopped “dreaming”; we believe our Lord can still utilize our help in His kingdom work.
