HOUSE OF PRAYER
Red Dam Baptist longs to be known as a “house of prayer.” We are looking for 100 prayer warriors! We have a dedicated group of people on our prayer ministry team, and they offer several ongoing opportunities to get involved. Prayer changes things! The Power of God, who hears and answers our prayers, is the POWER in PRAYER!
Ongoing Prayer Ministries
PRAYER ROOM-Prayer Partners Team
Sign up to pray at a specific time. We have Teams for men, for women, and individually. See Ginny Yerden (or email email@example.com) to become a prayer member in one of the following groups:
- DAILY P.I.T. CREWS
Personal Intercessory Team: prays for specific staff members. You will be assigned a person to pray for on a quarterly basis. You will Pray INDIVIDUALLY on your own time; at home, at work, on the water, or wherever you pray. Men or Women.
- WEDNESDAY WARRIORS
These Prayer Warriors meet on Wednesday morning, 10:30 am at Red Dam Baptist Church, to pray for our pastors and leaders; the needs of our church; our Association, and/or special events or needs. Some of these members also pray from home.
- FASTING FIRST FRIDAYS
On the first Friday of each month, go without at least one meal (or more) or other pleasure as the Lord leads you. Spend time praying for personal revival that permeates the church, community, and our nation. It is a call to repentance and cleansing following Jesus’ example (Matt. 6:16-18).
- SUNDAY SERVICE PRAYER PARTNERS
These Prayer Partners will pray on Sunday in the Senior Pastor’s office, throughout the duration of our Sunday Morning Service. We want Every Sunday morning covered in prayer! Join us – Sign up for one (1) Sunday a month. Women have the 3rd and 4th Sundays; Men have the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month. You need only to pray one time a month.
They meet to pray as our Sunday morning worship services are happening. Service is covered in prayer from start to finish during the worship hour (11:00 – 12:00), praying for every aspect of the service:
- Call to Worship
- Songs of Worship and Praise
- Prayer Time
- Special Music
- Pastor’s Morning Message
- The Invitation: Praying for decisions to be made and the lost to be saved!
Everyone can Pray. We welcome you.
